A special bulletin today to make an official apology to I.R.Baboon.  In my previous update I forgot to mention that due to Paveway's terrible sleep disorder (i.e. he's ALWAYS sleeping) we were a player short for the LAN against WAH.  Mr Baboon kindly offerred his services, and made a valuable asset to the team, and even though he got paid $5 for his services he still insists on whinging about lack of recognition, so here you go, Thanks.  NOW STOP WHINGING!  ;p

LOL.

Well it's been ages since anybody updated this site so it's about time I did... Well not much has happened lately, we did have a LAN against [WAH] What a Hash and managed to win some cold hard cash ($5 each! woohoo!).

Clan member Ben "Studs" (JSOW) has been working furiously on a great new map inspired by the movie "The Rock", more details and screen shots can be found here.

Last night we had a scheduled Colly Match, and the opposition did not show, so
we won by default.  That gives us 2 wins from 4 games.  Not a great record, but
it should be enough if we continue on this path, to qualify us for the LAN
section of the Tourney.  Thanks to all those who turned up.

Well it’s been a while since the last update.  We have been experiencing some difficulty in our operations recently, but hopefully these are almost all behind us and we can continue.

Firstly, a reminder to try and make it online each Thursday from 18:00 Zulu.  Look for Ordnance players on the Paradise and Jetstream Servers.  We have had a slowly increasing number of players making these sessions.  There is nothing formal about them at the moment, just try and join a server with other Soldiers and if possible the same team.

Secondly, we have been informed that we need to register for the up and coming Collesuem Tourney.  This is held in two parts.  The first, being held on the Internet.  The second will be the top ten teams at the Collesuem.  Owing to the high rate of cheating during clan games online, it has been discussed that we should consider not entering.  I would like to know if people are keen to enter or not, please contact me and tell me what you think.

Thirdly, to restate what is in our Regulations.  No member of Ordnance will cheat in any matches.   If you are caught, you will face a Court-Martial, the worst possible punishment will be dismissal.  This is not in our Charter, and will not be tolerated.

If anyone wants to join Ordnance, then they need to register their interest here.  We have had some problems with out automatic mailer, but its working again, so please refer anyone with questions re signing up to this site.

PEACE IN OUR TIME!!!

In a great Diplomatic Coup Smokly has ensured that the up and coming war has been prevented. He has ended the CS League Tourney and all that it entails. We will stand down from Total war, back to stand by.

Please be aware as the imminent start of RAGE is approaching us we will endeavourer to maintain a higher state of readiness then usual. Check back here for more information as it becomes available.

All soldiers are requested to make a decided effort to get online on Thursdays nights from around 1900 hrs and see if you can find other Ordnance soldiers on the Jetstream and Paradise servers. We are starting to get more and more soldiers online at this time, and training together is doing us the world of good.

Also if you don't have your regulation Tag set up can you please email SLAM-ER to request that he email it to you.

There has been reported to me a distinct lack of discipline in the Soldiers at the moment. I ask that you all respect the Chain of Command and follow orders when they are given, otherwise something will have to be done to increase discipline.

OMG!  WTF?  An Update?!?

Well its been a long time in coming, but it would seem that we might actually have sorted out this web site business and well, hopefully we will be in the business of doing previously unheard of things like updates. I think the last time someone posted something we had just had our first clan match, and that was ages ago. So what's happened since? Well we have been to 2 Coliseum Tournaments in that time, winning neither but finishing well in both of them (4th and 5th I think). And we have Played the entire first Rage tourney online, In which we came a sorry Last, well we may not have if every one beneath us had not pulled out. We will be aiming to place better than that in the up and coming rage.

We have enrolled in the CS League; more information will be forth coming as soon as possible.

Just so you know, Private Durandal will not be coming to any more LAN's as he has a new job in Rotorua. Captain HARM has moved to Australia for a while to begin recruiting for Ordnance over there, well actually its work related, but don't tell anyone.

Thursdays are looking to become our dominant night for playing both general online and matches. Look for other Ordnance Soldiers on the Jetstream and Paradise servers on those nights.

Anyone who has had contact regarding joining Ordnance, or challenging us needs to get said person to contact me either through our website or ordnance@firestorm.net.nz

Finally, (until I think of something more to say) A Belated Warm welcome to our newer members. Privates JASSM and Shrike.

Ordnance’s first battle.

Ordnance engaged in battle with NRC on the GIG server for two hours. We played “Militia” (as chosen by NRC) and “Siege” (chosen by Ordnance.) The final game score was 14 to 4 in Ordnance’s favour.

Regimental Sergeant Major Paveway was awarded the Silver Star for selling himself dearly and performing above and beyond the call of duty. Private Stinger was awarded the Bronze Star for performing above and beyond the call of duty. Captain SLAM-ER and Privates Durandal and THAAD were awarded the Purple heart for being wounded in combat. Private Brimstone was promoted to Corporal.
